Member Groups
The following contains membership groups and descriptions of which individuals and/or entities are part of a particular group.
OT/OTR
Any individual licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Wisconsin.
OTA/COTA
Any individual licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Wisconsin.
OT/OTA (Student)
Any individual currently enrolled full or part time as an Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant Student in an accredited Occupational Therapy educational program for no more than five.
Associate Member
An individual or organization interested in Occupational Therapy that does not satisfy the requirements of any other membership category.
Retired
Semi-retired and retired Occupational Therapists or Occupational Therapy Assistants who may be working less than 10 hours per week (average less than 40 hours per month).
Life Member
Any Occupational Therapists or Occupational Therapy Assistant WOTA member who has been voted into this category by the voting membership of the WOTA.
Disabled
Membership dues may be waived for OTs and OTAs with permanent disability. Contact the WOTA office to request an application form.
